25 random facts about me

I've been blogging on and off (mostly off really!) for about a year now so I thought it'd be fun to do the 'facts about me' tag.  I've seen plenty of these videos over on You Tube, most of them being 50 random facts.  I thought that might be a bit too long winded for a blog post so I thought I'd cut it down to 25 instead.  Here goes!

• My middle name is Elizabeth
• I'm a bit of a midget at just over 5 feet tall
• I have been in my current job for over 5 years
• I'm 10 years older than my brother, yet he is well over a foot taller than me
• I don't have any piercings, not even my ears
• My star sign is Gemini
• My boyfriend is in the Army
• I don't like cheese and even order my pizzas without it
• I'm very fond of a glass, no bottle of wine
• I have been bridesmaid 3 times, twice when I was about 7, and most recently for my cousin in June
• My favourite colour is pink
• I'm one of the oldest amongst my friends, yet the most likely to get asked for ID
• I don't smoke, infact, I detest it
• My favoutite TV show of all time is Friends and I'm forever comparing real-life incidents to it "Ooh this is just like Friends when..."
• I've always loved boybands and cried my eyes out in the cinema watching Westlife's farewell gig. *sob!*
• I always have to have Ben & Jerry's Icecream at the cinema and my favourite flavour is Raspberry Brownie
• I have an 8 year old Patterdale Terrier called Penny and I love her more than anything else in the world
• In 2011 I had an operation to remove a tumour from my small bowel. It was found to be a GIST which is a rare cancer.  Luckily the whole tumor was removed and I have been free from disease since.
• I dislike tea and coffee, despite promising my Grandad I'd have a cup of tea "when I was three" as a toddler
• I absolutely cannot stand mayonaise, even looking at it makes me gag
• I'm terrified of wasps after being stung when I was younger
• In Nando's I always order a plain butterfly chicken with chips and mashed potatoes. Weird I know!
• I met one of my closest friends while running for the bus!
• I've only been abroad twice; once to Magaluf and once to the Algarve
• I only answer the phone if I recognise the number
